Most Rev. Michael M.C. Yeung was born on 1 December 1945, in Shanghai. In 1972, Bishop Yeung was called to engage in missionary work and entered the Holy Spirit Seminary. He was ordained as a priest in Hong Kong in 1978. In 1990, Bishop Yeung joined Caritas - Hong Kong, and in 2003, he succeeded Rev. LERDA, Francesco PIME as the Chief Executive of Caritas - Hong Kong. In 2014, Bishop Yeung was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Hong Kong and subsequently stepped down as President of Caritas. On 1 August 2017, Bishop Yeung assumed the position of Coadjutor Bishop of Hong Kong.
