Caritas Family Crisis Support Centre was the first family crisis support centre in Hong Kong. Its goal was to enhance the problem-solving abilities of service users and intervene early through professional counselling. By providing comprehensive professional counselling and live-in service, it aimed to prevent the escalation of crises.

Caritas Family Crisis Support Centre provided various services including a 24-hour crisis hotline, live-in service, community education, volunteer training, and policy advocacy. In 2008, Caritas Family Crisis Support Centre received sponsorship from the Li Ka Shing Foundation and established the “Caritas Family Crisis Line & Education Centre”. This enabled the expansion of a professional team dedicated to answering calls on the hotline from Caritas Family Crisis Support Centre. Other specialised services included “Extramarital Affairs Counselling Service,” “Supporting Service on Addiction”, “Little Ears Children's Counselling Service,” and the newly established “Love Infinity Project”.
